Lo previously launched a very successful clothing line called J. Lo that was geared toward a young, urban customer. It would seem that Jen is ready to woo the older set with her new line, which will be available in September from Kohl’s. Jennifer Lopez joined O Magazine’s Creative Director Adam Glassman on set to style eight O readers in her fabulous new collection which is all about accessible, everyday glamour; the line is set to debut in [Kohl's] stores this September. This is not the firs time Jennifer Lopez has dabbled with fashion design but it deffo sounds like her focus has changed. The sexier, more juniors line she offered previously seems to be put aside in lieu of catering to a more mature woman. But, as you can see, J. Lo‘s love for fake fur is still front and center (her J. Lo line was lousy with fake fur). Not that I’d be buying any of it but I am curious to see what J. Lo‘s new line for Kohl’s looks like. Are you?

Yesterday was a nice and very quiet day for David and me. I spent most of my late afternoon/evening reading and David spent his running around taking care of errands. We did leave the house for a bit last night to get a couple drinks and just hang out and ended up at one of our fave spots, The Hudson. Unfortunately, we were hoping for a quiet Monday night out … but we ended up being smack dab in the middle of a raucous crowd watching the NCAA Men’s Basketball Final.

The only seating open in the bar was underneath the big screen TV … so all the screaming bros were pointed at us. Their cheering and jeering was a bit disconcerting but it really didn’t take away from our hang out session. We managed to sneak off and find privacy in the photobooth for a bit, which was a nice way to end our night out. Oh and congrats to The University of Connecticut for their win last night … even if the game was kinda terrible.

No plans for tonight. I’m certain David and I will get out of the house eventually for food or something but as it stands, we don’t have anything on the books. Ah, it’s nice to have nothing to do … let me tell you ;)

As I mentioned earlier, David and I went to the Neil Simon Theater on Broadway to see the new musical production of Catch Me If You Can (read my review HERE) and then afterward, met up with our good friends Marissa and Isaac for a late dinner at the Landmarc inside the Time Warner Center in Columbus Circle. Because our time here in NYC this week is limited and jam-packed with stuff to do, our hang out session with Marissa and Isaac last night was our only chance to see one another … so we really made the most of our time together.

I was very surprised and happy to see that the Time Warner Center has on display quite a few sculpture pieces created by Salvador Dalí. It was all I could do to keep from running around the whole place snapping pics of all the amazing pieces. Here is one photo I did take of one of Dalí‘s famous melting clocks:

Marissa and Isaac are truly 2 of my fave people on Earth so it was a pleasure, as always, to hang out with them. There was talk that one or both of them **may** come visit us in Connecticut this weekend at David’s parent’s house … but as much as I really would LOVE that, I’m not sure if it will actually happen. Still, we did have a blast last night.

This afternoon, David and I are seeing a matinee of Daniel Radcliffe‘s new Broadway show How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (which we are both very excited to see) and then tonight, I’m meeting up with my darling Irene to see PJ Harvey in concert at Terminal 5. It’s going to be a very exciting day here in NYC. Wee!!!
