Poor Katie!
A&E Television Network has pulled the plug on their new miniseries, The Kennedys, claiming the series was "not a fit" for The History Channel.

Our New Year's Eve was very quiet last week, spent in Jerusalem with Momma Perez. Not only do they not celebrate New Year's Eve in Israel like they do in America - the Jewish calendar is different than ours - but New Year's Eve also fell on a Friday. Shabbat! Which means that everything was REALLY quiet that night.

So, to celebrate the new year, celebrate our friends and especially celebrate our bestie's birthday, we decided to throw a super fun party on Friday night at the penthouse of the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel.

Amazing location!

Amazing people!

Amazing time!

Check out some photos from our soiree (above and below)!

This has also extended to the musical instrument realm including the piano. The Best Way to Buy Tickets Online

I bet anytime you hear the words hemp knots, you think of those bracelets or necklaces with beads and Puka shells. Although these pieces of jewelry can be nice there are more intricate pieces of art utilizing this and other materials. The use of hemp knots isn't anything that is new, nor is it something that was started by the hippies of the 60's.

A Very Brady Divorce: Christopher Knight Adrianne Curry

We first brought you the news back in May that Christopher Knight and Adrianne Curry were separating. The two made a joint statement regarding their split, which fell on their 5th wedding anniversary. Sad. It looks as if they were not able to save their marriage and TMZ is reporting that Knight filed for divorce on August 19th. Adrianne took to Twitter today saying that Chris filed because she wanted him to do so and they are divorcing on friendly terms. “Chris filed cause I TOLD him to. I even announced it the other day He paid the 400 fee. I feel like people can’t fathom a couple divorcing nicely..we are even having our friends serve each other … mine was on vid … hahaha.” Theirs was a marriage that seemed doomed from the start. Let’s take a walk down memory lane and refresh your memory on how these two met. On Reality TV. There you go. That explains everything, doesn’t it? The reality curse strikes yet another married couple! How many couples has this affected now? Dubstep Vs Electro House Explaining the Misunderstood Genre and How to Find New Dubstep

Americana Music is probably one of the many music genres that cannot define itself accurately. Ask an Americana music fan about its meaning and you'll get either of these two answers: "It is a fusion of American roots music that is basically country but spans to contemporary folk, bluegrass, alt-country, soul gospel and even rock," or simply "I just know it when I hear it." If you are one of the many curious music lovers who stumbled upon it and wants to know more about it, I suggest you keep reading.

From Crooners to That Old Time Rock and Roll

Within the underground music scene, there is not a particular brand of metal that is so proudly associated with evil and darkness than that of Black Metal. As the name itself describes, this type of metal has been "blackened", or darker themed than predecessor styles of the metal genre. This is not to say that evil themed vocals and album covers determine if a band is black metal, but the sound itself typically requires extremely fast drumming, poor recording quality and screeching vocals. Although black metal originated in the 1980s, touted by bands such as Venom, Bathory, and others, the genre didn't fully take shape until the early 1990s, which we will discuss in more detail.

Waltraud Meier, One Of The Greatest Wagner Sopranos Of All Time

A singer, typically a male one, who sings sentimental songs in a soft, low voice, is by dictionary definition, a crooner. There can be many style variations; even some female vocalists are believed by many to fall into the crooner category. However, in this article we will showcase and pay tribute to that list of original crooners and those that follow them into modern day music in the 'true' crooning manner.

Wow. Liam just brought this feud to the next level!

Last month, we were bummed to hear that brothers/former Oasis bandmates Liam and Noel Gallagher were still fighting.

Noel was blaming Liam for the feud, claiming he demanded a free ad for his clothing line Pretty Green to be featured in a tour program...which of course Liam said was a lie.

Noel also claimed that Liam cancelled out on the V Festival in 2009 because he was hungover, which Liam said was a lie.

Guess that must have REALLY hit a nerve with Liam, because he's now suing his brother over the claims.

Earlier today, Liam released a statement saying that he wants an apology, and he wants Oasis fans to understand that the gig was cancelled because he had laryngitis.

According to Liam's spokesman, the singer has "issued a writ" at High Court in London against Noel.

Yikes! Maybe you should just apologize to your bro, Noel. This doesn't seem worth it AT ALL.

Who do U side with here? Do U think Liam really was hungover? Or was it laryngitis?

Alanis Morisette Jagged Little Pill

How many of you have ever been touched in your Soul by an amazing piece of music? My guess is that there is not one person out there who can declare that they made it through life without being somehow Spiritually moved by this amazing creation and gift called music. Some could argue deafness, but I believe music is an experience not just a sound. The thing is, music evokes something much deeper than what we hear with our ears.

Art As An Investment In The Industrial North Of England

There is one particular question that has to be the most overlooked question that parents and event organizers fail to ask when interviewing a prospective magician for a kids' birthday party. And it really is not their fault because it takes somebody who understands the performing arts and specifically how magic shows for youngsters work to be able to realize just how important this single question really is.

Breaking Dawn Offers Up New Poster

It’s one of the most highly-anticipated films of the year, and “Breaking Dawn” released a brand new poster to keep building up potential theatergoers' already overwhelming interest.

A few lucky fans got a glimpse of the image during this year’s Comic-Con, although it was a tad bit different.

While the new offering is already a favorite over past poster releases, it is still unknown if this will be the official poster for the fourth installment of the “The Twilight Saga”.

Nonetheless, fans can pre-order the poster online while the film hits theaters on November 18.

Blues Guitar Lessons: When the Quantity Should Have Nothing to Do With the Price You Pay

If Indie music is where your heart resides in the sonic landscape, then you've probably listened to the bands "Death Cab for Cutie", "The Decemberists", "Bright Eyes", "The National", and "Mumford & Sons", but have you heard of "Rocky Votolato, "William Fitzsimmons", or "Great Lake Swimmers"? If you have, that's wonderful, but I'm certain that you know of many bands and artists that my expanding ears never have been introduced to and would thank you immensely for. The problem is, how can local, emerging Indie bands have a chance at grabbing your soul through your headphones? Finding new music when you're craving something new to listen to but you can't find anything really is one of the most frustrating things, but when you do, it feels so great.

Organize Video Discs and Manuals Without The Help of A CD Case

The myth Wagner set to music in the opera Lohengrin is a marvelous portrait of romantic chivalry. The mystery of the enduring power of this story may be explained by analyzing it as a dramatic theodicy. A philosophical theodicy poses an answer to the problem of evil in a world supposedly controlled by a God who is good. How atrocities can be permitted under the sun by a benevolent and omnipotent God is a question that does not completely relent under logical analysis. Dramatic renderings of the issue have had wider appeal and greater staying power. One of the oldest examples of dramatic theodicy is the story of Job in the Bible.

Lohengrin As Dramatic Theodicy

One important aspect a singer needs to be cautious about when learning how to sing better is to keep his/her larynx completely tension free. The larynx, more commonly known as "The Voice Box" is nothing but a small piece of box that keeps our vocal chords in hold. It is made of a cartilage and is surrounded and supported by muscles.

My time in the wilds of Rhode Island has come to an end and David and I are now in NYC. We’ll be here in the Big Apple until the end of the week and we’ve got a pretty full schedule on our plates. But, before we let the hecticness of the city overtake us, we settled in and enjoyed the really breezy and cool weather here last night.

Because I grew up in the Detroit Metro area, I never spent much time on trains. In fact, I think the first actual train I ever rode was after I met David and I visited his family in New England for the first time. Trains are very prevalent all along the East Coast border so that’s how David likes to travel to/from NYC back home to Connecticut:

This is the cute little train station in Rhode Island that we took out of town … but soon enough, we were in NYC:

First, we got some pizza … then we met up with our friend Isaac for a quick drink thing at Industry. It really was a quick hello then back to our place for much-needed sleep. Tonight, David and I are seeing the amazing show Sleep No More and we are both very excited. Not sure what the plan is for after but … it’s NYC … I’m sure we’ll find something :)

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles fans of all genders, rejoice! When it comes to relationships, Thomas Dekker is open to anything.

The Terminator: TSCC/Heroes/Nightmare on Elm Street actor opened up about his sexuality during a recent interview and had the following to say about it:

"I've only really had relationships with women, but I'm certainly not closed to it. If there are possibilities of being able to do anything in life, why would you say you would never take any up?"

"In the later chunk of my teen years I was so all over the place with sex. It was terrible. I never really had a real relationship at all. During puberty, it's all about sex, and it's all about figuring yourself out. I think I overdid it when I was younger."

So there you have it, folks! Thomas Dekker is officially an equal opportunity free agent!

Practice: Play Music Without the Effort

Music records can tell various beautiful stories just like everything in this world. These accounts behind music could also be a little too irrelevant to other individuals. It is not important if music has changed in due course, what's of importance is that you get something out of it, a sense of satisfaction perhaps. But, if you are to see it, music is more than merely getting a jazz vinyl and have it played over your player. Music is more than merely finding someone with whom you could share music to. You can look deep into the history to realize that an extensive horizon is awaiting for you to see.

Piano Lessons Modern Methods of Teaching Piano

It's no great revelation that the original stars of rockabilly music had talent. But very often, theirs was a very special kind of talent. It was often unformed, underdeveloped, and even undiscovered. In other words, it was raw. And the rawness of rockabilly talent may have had as big an influence on the wild success of some of the music's stars as did anything else.
