At last … after many years of hoping, praying, talking … then planning and waiting … Scream 4 finally opened in theaters here in the US yesterday. It seems like a lifetime ago that we first heard that the Scream film franchise was being rebooted with a new sequel and an ice age since the last film was released in theaters … but Scream 4 is out. I was able to see the film at a showing yesterday and I am very happy to reveal that I LOVED it entirely and believe it to be a very worthy sequel to the amazing Scream horror franchise.

I was very happy to see that Scream 4 manages to update the “horror movie rules” formula while still staying true to the spirit that we all know and love from the first 3 Scream films. The opening kill scene is just BRILLIANT. It’s so meta that I can’t even properly describe what happens … you’ll have to see it for yourselves. The movie is funny AND bloody. It seemed to be the bloodiest Scream movie yet … which is right on par with the way the sequels should be (tho I have to give the edge of the funniest Scream film to Scream 3, primarily because of Parker Posey‘s brilliant performance … and because of Courteney Cox‘s outrageously severe bangs). There is a nice dichotomy between the original cast and the new generation and the story twists and turns so much that you really do not know who the killer is (or killers are) until the body count whittles down the suspects … and even then, you really can’t be sure until that ghostface mask comes off. Be warned … NO ONE is safe in this film. If you have a fave character — either old or new — you better be prepared to see them skewered cuz in this film, anyone can die at any time. If I have one complaint about the film, it would be how long the ending dragged on. As you Scream fans should know, the killer always comes back for one last scare … but this time, that come back is quite long and drawn out. BUT, the movie is so good you kinda don’t want it to end so … more movie means more scares. I really had no idea how they were going to reboot the Scream franchise and make it both new AND true to the original films which came out a decade ago. I was very pleased to see that Scream 4 is a fun reboot of the franchise … and I’m DYING to see where the story will go next in Scream 5 … and Scream 6? Do yourselves a favor, go see Scream 4. If you love the original films, I think you’ll really get a kick out of and will enjoy this film a lot.

The incident began when Kobe appeared to heckle referee Bennie Adams while in the middle of game play. As the Spurs began to move the ball across the center line, Bryant jogged his way over to cover his man. You can visibly see him flailing his arms around as he faced Adams, who was standing just out of bounds. Adams apparently had enough and called him on a technical foul. Rather than walk over and take a seat like any multimillionaire athlete should, Kobe put on a hilariously immature display, throwing towels and even pounding on the back of his seat. The new issue of People has some pretty intense details inside the demise of the relatonship between Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore.

It's even sadder than we thought. Ashton's wandering eye had Demi doubting herself all the time. Her insecurities only grew because of his betrayal of commitment which led to nagging questions that, albeit justified, drove Ashton even further away.

According to a friend of Ashton's:

The marriage had been deteriorating for a long time. Ashton was ready to end it, but he wanted to wait for Demi to actually do it. He loved her but couldn't live with her.

She really wanted to save the marriage but couldn't deal with the pain of his cheating. They were fed up with each other.

If anyone was uncomfortable with the age difference, it was Demi, not Ashton. She drove him crazy after a while with questions and doubts.

Ugh. So terrible. But hey, maybe now every Tumbling woman's fanfiction can come to fruition -- maybe one day Demi will get back with Bruce Willis! ...ha! That won't be happening for a while. He seems pretty in love with his new(er) lady.

Tony A. Kadyhrob was spotted in the STUDENT CENTER at the College of New Jersey last Friday and was quickly escorted out by campus police, but not before this photo was snapped.

How did they recognize him? That hip black beanie and black jacket surely should have fooled anyone into thinking he was a spring semester transfer student.

We're only kidding of course! This guy has some serious issues if he's lurking around college campuses.

Considering this is his second strike after being released on bail, we're thinking they should AT LEAST keep this guy under surveillance if not place him on house arrest…or actual arrest.

The colleges website warns students not to approach or confront this man if he is spotted, but call 911 or Campus Police Services.

Last night night David and I were invited to help celebrate our dear Mariqueen’s birthday at ChoSun Galbee Korean BBQ last night and we had an absolute blast celebrating with all of her family and friends. The party was a surprise so it was pretty much mum’s the word until the big surprise went down. I think we managed to surprise her pretty successfully … the look on her face when she walked into the room full of people was just perfection!

Not only was the company fantastic but the food was really amazing. We ate our faces off and then were treated to the most delicious desserts available. For some reason, David and I couldn’t get enough of our friend Genevieve’s beautiful baby girl Audrey. The precious little girl just manages to get cuter and cuter every time we see her. It was all we could do to keep from stealing her away and bringing her home with us. We’re planning a playdate with Gen and Audrey tomorrow so … expect more photos. I want to formally extend all my Birthday Lurve to Mariqueen today for her birthday yesterday. I hope she had a fantastic day … we had a blast celebrating with her :)

Tonight, David and I are planning to get together with Ollie and Caleb — who have been gallivanting in London for that past week. I’m dying to hear about their trip :) It’s a gloomy Wednesday here in SoCal today … I hope your Hump Day is going well.

The married Sex, Lies, and Videotape filmmaker has admitted to an affair and subsequently A BABY with an Australian woman named Frances Lawrencina Anderson while directing a play down under.

However, he's actually owning up for his actions and has agreed to begin making "reasonable" child support payments.

Soderbergh's baby mama says their fling began in December 2009, while he was in Sydney, Australia, directing a play called Tot Mom.

Okay, so his art really does reflect his life!

In February, the filmmaker acknowledged he'd "engaged in consensual sexual intimacy and as a result thereof the plaintiff became pregnant," but called into question his lover's claims for money, and the extended involvement of attorneys, in the case.

She probably realized she had a baby by you and could therefore be a millionaire! So sad, but true in this day and age.

Their love child, a baby girl named Pearl Button Anderson, was born on August 30, 2010.

In any case, we're at glad he's taking responsibility and will be taking care of Pearl financially for the rest of her life until she turns 18, but hopefully longer!

The couple did have a boy and a girl … but also another girl! Last night David and I were feeling a little “homesick” for Berlin so we decided to make our way out to Silverlake, CA so that we could dine and drink at the Red Lion Tavern. The Red Lion is an authentic German “Gasthaus” & Beer Garden that has great eats, great beers and really great atmosphere. I’ve been dying for a Diesel drink for weeks now (Diesel = Beer & Coke) so I indulged last night. The food was also fab. We had a blast.

I hadn’t been to the Red Lion in years … prolly since before I moved here to LA 5 years ago this Summer. It was nice to go back … and I’m telling you, we will be visiting the Red Lion a lot more often :)

I’m not sure what the plan is for tonight but Darion’s mom is here in town and we will be partying with her tomorrow. The weather is going to be glorious again today so … if you’re in the area, I hope you can get out and enjoy it. If the weather isn’t so great in your neck of the woods, take heart … at least it’s the beginning of the weekend :) Happy Friday!!

Fox plays a topless bird woman who is mistaken for an angel. Yes, folks … a bird woman. While there are a HOST of inventive and exciting movie roles available to young actresses these days, Megan Fox decided to take on the role of Lily the Bird Woman. Megan Fox is known as one of the most beautiful women in the world. So when she was picked to play an angelic Bird Woman in the film Passion Play, she certainly cut a heavenly figure. The actress went topless in the movie and brings her usual vamped up sensuality to the role. But even her toned body could not help the film, which has been universally panned. The former Transformers star plays sideshow attraction Lily the Bird Woman. Her wings have onlookers wondering if she is an angel from heaven or just a freak of nature. In the film she wears tiny white shorts and high heels with large wings sprouting from her back. She modestly covers her breasts with her hands in stills released from the movie. She teams up with Mickey Rourke who plays a trumpeter whose life changes when he meets Lily at a carnival. The film follows their romance as the two troubled souls fall for each other. Despite the near nudity and skimpy outfits, the movie did not get a cinema release and is going straight to DVD after a spate of poor reviews. ‘Awful’, a ‘mess’ and ‘an absolute car wreck’ have been used to describe the film. Even Rourke has slammed the film saying: ‘It’s so bad. In your career and all the movies you make, you’re going to make dozens of terrible ones’, he tried to explain.

LOL! Poor Megan. I would assume that the opportunity to play a bird woman sounded appealing at one point but, Lord Have Mercy, did no one tell her what a terrible idea it would turn out to be in actual practice. I really love Mickey Rourke … the man speaks the truth at all times. He’s usually not one to sugar coat anything. If he says the movie sucks, I have to take him at his word. Let’s hope that Megan Fox is able to nab a more successful role the next time around. I would hope the only place to go from playing a bird woman is up … maybe something less fowl next time?
