I can proudly claim to have more books on this era of history than our local library, books authored by such specialists as Massy, Shaw or Redford. I will first identify and provide some information on the image in question. The bust in question is that of Queen Tiye of Egypt often referred to as the Cat Goddess. I have it on very good authority that Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon gave birth to their babies just a few hours ago and you are NEVER going to believe what went down in the delivery room. As you may recall, Mimi and Nick made it very clear that they were having twins — a boy and a girl — but that turned out not entirely to be the case. The couple did have a boy and a girl … but also another girl! I have it on **very good authority** that Mr. & Mrs. Cannon have already named “dem babies” … find out what their TRIPLETS are named below.

JUST KIDDING! Yeah, it’s April Fool’s Day … I’m not really that good at jokes but I figured this would be the most believable gag to play. Mariah as NOT yet given birth and she is very likely really having twins — a boy and a girl … but I guess we won’t really know until we know for sure, right?

Last night David and I were feeling a little “homesick” for Berlin so we decided to make our way out to Silverlake, CA so that we could dine and drink at the Red Lion Tavern. The Red Lion is an authentic German “Gasthaus” & Beer Garden that has great eats, great beers and really great atmosphere. I’ve been dying for a Diesel drink for weeks now (Diesel = Beer & Coke) so I indulged last night. The food was also fab. We had a blast.

I hadn’t been to the Red Lion in years … prolly since before I moved here to LA 5 years ago this Summer. It was nice to go back … and I’m telling you, we will be visiting the Red Lion a lot more often :)

I’m not sure what the plan is for tonight but Darion’s mom is here in town and we will be partying with her tomorrow. The weather is going to be glorious again today so … if you’re in the area, I hope you can get out and enjoy it. If the weather isn’t so great in your neck of the woods, take heart … at least it’s the beginning of the weekend :) Happy Friday!!

I’m thinking Kat Dennings is going to steal the show in this film. She tends to play funny roles very well and this deffo looks like a funny role. It’s crazy to think that the film we first heard about so long ago is almost due for release. I remember when Spring 2011 sounded like a lifetime away and … well, here we are. This clip is really fun. I wonder if we’ll get to see more clips before the film opens in May.

Actress Megan Fox is taking her movie career to new heights with her latest film … and you are never gonna believe the role she is playing in a new straight-to-DVD film titled Passion Play. Fox plays a topless bird woman who is mistaken for an angel. Yes, folks … a bird woman. While there are a HOST of inventive and exciting movie roles available to young actresses these days, Megan Fox decided to take on the role of Lily the Bird Woman. Megan Fox is known as one of the most beautiful women in the world. So when she was picked to play an angelic Bird Woman in the film Passion Play, she certainly cut a heavenly figure. The actress went topless in the movie and brings her usual vamped up sensuality to the role. But even her toned body could not help the film, which has been universally panned. The former Transformers star plays sideshow attraction Lily the Bird Woman. Her wings have onlookers wondering if she is an angel from heaven or just a freak of nature. In the film she wears tiny white shorts and high heels with large wings sprouting from her back. She modestly covers her breasts with her hands in stills released from the movie. She teams up with Mickey Rourke who plays a trumpeter whose life changes when he meets Lily at a carnival. The film follows their romance as the two troubled souls fall for each other. Despite the near nudity and skimpy outfits, the movie did not get a cinema release and is going straight to DVD after a spate of poor reviews. ‘Awful’, a ‘mess’ and ‘an absolute car wreck’ have been used to describe the film. Even Rourke has slammed the film saying: ‘It’s so bad. In your career and all the movies you make, you’re going to make dozens of terrible ones’, he tried to explain.

LOL! Poor Megan. I would assume that the opportunity to play a bird woman sounded appealing at one point but, Lord Have Mercy, did no one tell her what a terrible idea it would turn out to be in actual practice. I really love Mickey Rourke … the man speaks the truth at all times. He’s usually not one to sugar coat anything. If he says the movie sucks, I have to take him at his word. Let’s hope that Megan Fox is able to nab a more successful role the next time around. I would hope the only place to go from playing a bird woman is up … maybe something less fowl next time?

I hope there is a little more action in this commercial … perhaps involving Becks removing that very nice white shirt. HMMMM. I can’t wait to see how it all turns out :)
